Our challenge

As the organization expanded its product ecosystem, new products and brands sought to leverage capabilities from an established parent platform while preserving the quality and consistency of the customer experience.

Existing systems, design patterns, and platform architecture had evolved over time to support complex business needs. Integrating additional products required balancing immediate business objectives with long-term platform scalability, operational feasibility, and user experience continuity.

The challenge was to create a phased adoption strategy that enabled new product integration while maintaining a cohesive experience across the ecosystem and minimizing disruption for existing users.

Our opportunity

This presented an opportunity to rethink the platform holistically—identifying shared capabilities, uncovering reusable experience patterns, and evolving foundational components to support future growth.

Rather than treating each product integration as an isolated effort, we explored how platform decisions could create value across multiple product lines while improving consistency, efficiency, and usability.

Our strategy

Working within a phased transformation strategy, we established a continuous cycle of ideation, validation, iteration, and refinement.

Through ongoing collaboration with product, engineering, business, and design stakeholders, we evaluated how new products would influence the broader ecosystem and identified opportunities to strengthen core platform capabilities.

Key areas of focus included:

  • Understanding the needs of multiple product teams and user groups.

  • Identifying common workflows, patterns, and platform dependencies.

  • Evolving shared design components and experience frameworks to support broader adoption.

  • Balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term platform scalability.

  • Continuously validating assumptions through stakeholder feedback and iterative design exploration.

Our outcome

The initiative established a scalable foundation for future product adoption, improved alignment across teams, and informed the evolution of shared platform capabilities.

The work created a repeatable approach for evaluating and integrating new products while maintaining experience consistency across the ecosystem.
